Description

A quick and elegant dish that combines the rich flavors of salmon with buttery garlic and zesty lemon, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets
  • Unsalted butter
  • Fresh lemon juice
  • Garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (or dill/thyme)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Pat your salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add unsalted butter. Let it melt gently.
  3. Once melted, add minced garlic and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Place the salmon in the skillet, skin-side down if it has skin. Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Carefully flip the salmon and add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped herbs before serving.

Notes

Let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes before serving for a moist, tender finish.
