Description

Warm, gooey chocolate toffee cookies that evoke nostalgia and joy, perfect for sharing with loved ones.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter-sugar mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and toffee bits.
  7. Scoop generous portions of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers are soft.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.

Notes

For variation, feel free to use dark chocolate or milk chocolate chips. Chilling the dough helps if it’s too soft.
