Description

Delightful Little Debbie Cake Cookies that evoke nostalgia and are perfect for sharing with family and friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of cake mix (yellow or chocolate)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine your cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until well blended, creating a thick batter.
  3. Add your vanilla extract and mix again to incorporate it fully.
  4. Gently fold in chocolate chips or sprinkles if desired, making sure they’re evenly distributed.
  5. Using a tablespoon, scoop out cookie dough and roll them into balls, spacing them evenly on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden.
  7. Allow them to cool completely on a wire rack.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute applesauce for oil and try gluten-free cake mixes for a special diet.
