Description

A creamy and savory Loaded Baked Potato Dip that’s perfect for gatherings and family get-togethers, combining potatoes, cheese, sour cream, and crispy bacon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large Russet potatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash and pierce the potatoes, then bake for 45-60 minutes until tender.
  2. Once cool, scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl. Add sour cream, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, mixing until smooth.
  3. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
  4. Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with more cheddar cheese and bacon if desired.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Garnish with green onions or herbs and serve warm with tortilla chips or veggies.

Notes

For a twist, experiment with different herbs or add jalapeños for spice. Ensure potatoes are fluffy and well-mixed for best results.
