- 8 oz penne or rotini pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream

- 1 small onion, chopped

- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for sautéing

Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until just shy of al dente.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sauté the chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and chopped onion, cooking until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the broccoli florets and cook until bright green and slightly tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and add grated Parmesan, stirring until the cheese melts into a creamy consistency. Adjust with pasta water if too thick.
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet, stirring to coat in the sauce. Season with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs.
- Serve hot, topped with additional cheese, crushed red pepper flakes, or lemon juice.
