Description

Delicious low-carb mozzarella sticks wrapped in crispy bacon and drizzled with spicy Nashville hot sauce, perfect for family gatherings or a tasty snack.


Ingredients

  • 12 Mozzarella Cheese Sticks
  • 12 strips of Thick-Cut Bacon
  • 1/2 cup Nashville Hot Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Almond Flour (or crushed pork rinds)
  • 2 Eggs, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut each mozzarella stick in half if they are too long.
  3. Wrap a strip of bacon around each mozzarella stick snugly.
  4. Dip each wrapped mozzarella stick into the beaten egg, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Roll the sticks in almond flour (or crushed pork rinds) and desired seasonings.
  6. Place on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each stick.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until bacon is crispy and cheese is melting.
  8. Drizzle Nashville hot sauce over each stick before serving.
  9. Serve immediately with a cool dipping sauce.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute turkey bacon for regular bacon. Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese and spices.
