Description

A creamy and savory dip that combines sharp cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, and sweet maple syrup, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 6 strips Thick-Cut Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Bourbon
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 Green Onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the Bacon: Fry bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels, then crumble.
  2. Mix the Cheeses: Combine softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar in a bowl, blending until well combined.
  3. Add the Flavors: Stir in maple syrup and bourbon until fully incorporated.
  4. Fold in the Bacon and Onions: Gently fold in crumbled bacon and chopped green onions, reserving some for garnish.
  5. Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the dip into a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  6. Serve: Cool slightly and serve warm with crackers, veggies, or pretzels.

Notes

For a chunkier dip, reserve some bacon and green onions to stir in after baking.
