- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Maple Syrup
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 large Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Scoop rounded balls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and centers are slightly underdone.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For added flavor, try rolling the dough balls in granulated sugar before baking. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
