Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  5. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and centers are slightly underdone.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For added flavor, try rolling the dough balls in granulated sugar before baking. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
