Description

A flavorful dish featuring pork tenderloin marinated in a sweet and tangy maple Dijon sauce, perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 to 1.5 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for searing)
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme)

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork tenderloin dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil to make the marinade.
  3. Marinate the pork in a zip-top bag or shallow dish for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight.
  4. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and sear the marinated pork on all sides for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Transfer the pork to a preheated oven at 400°F and roast for 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  6. Let the pork rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Optionally, simmer the leftover marinade in the skillet for a few minutes to create a sauce.

Notes

For best results, allow for marinating time and remember to let the pork rest after cooking for juiciness.
