Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease two 9-inch round cake pans with butter and dust them with flour.

- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until fully incorporated.

- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans and smooth the tops.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in the pans for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- Frost with vanilla buttercream or serve with whipped cream.
