Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped bell peppers
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup or barbecue sauce (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease your muffin tin well or use liners.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onions, bell peppers, minced garlic, herbs, and spices. Mix gently.
  4. Take a handful of the mixture and press it into the muffin tin, forming a cup shape.
  5. Spoon a tablespoon of ketchup or barbecue sauce onto each cup.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
