Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream (or flavor of choice)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt; bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour until dough forms a ball.
  3. Allow to cool slightly, then beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and pipe small mounds of dough onto a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown, do not open oven door during baking.
  6. Cool completely, then slice open and fill with ice cream.
  7. Drizzle with chocolate sauce and serve.

Notes

Let the pastry cool completely before filling to avoid melting the ice cream. Experiment with different ice cream flavors and toppings!
