Description

Crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, these Mozzarella Bites are perfect for any occasion, served with marinara sauce.


Ingredients

  • Fresh Mozzarella, cut into cubes
  • Breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 2 cloves of Garlic, minced (or 1/2 tsp garlic powder)
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • Herbs (Basil, parsley, Italian seasoning)
  • Marinara Sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the fresh mozzarella into bite-sized cubes and drain well.
  3. Set up a breading station with beaten eggs, breadcrumbs mixed with seasonings, and plain flour.
  4. Dust each cheese cube in flour, dip it in the egg, then coat it with breadcrumbs.
  5. Place the coated bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different spices in the breadcrumbs for added flavor.
