- 1 tablespoon Native Pepperberry Rub
- 1 tablespoon Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
- Salt to taste
- Olive Oil
- Fresh Herbs (Rosemary or Thyme)
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced or crushed)
Instructions
- Allow your ribeye to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine native pepperberry, black pepper, and salt. Add minced garlic and herbs if desired.
- Drizzle olive oil over both sides of the ribeye.
- Generously rub the spice mix over the steak and let it sit for 10-15 minutes to marinate.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the ribeye for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Let the steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve sliced against the grain with desired sides.
Notes
For a touch of sweetness, consider adding honey or maple syrup to the rub. Sautéed mushrooms and cream potatoes pair excellently with this dish.
