Description

Delicious cookies that combine the rich flavors of chocolate cookies with the crunch of Oreos and the sweetness of M&Ms for a festive treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos
  • 1 cup M&Ms (peanut or crispy optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder; gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the crushed Oreos and M&Ms gently.
  6. Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Chill your dough for half an hour for better flavor and texture. Do not overmix or overbake to keep cookies soft and chewy.
