- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed Oreos
- 1 cup M&Ms (peanut or crispy optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder; gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the crushed Oreos and M&Ms gently.
- Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Chill your dough for half an hour for better flavor and texture. Do not overmix or overbake to keep cookies soft and chewy.
