- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup grape jelly or jam (or other flavors)
Instructions
- Prep Your Workspace: Clear a space on your kitchen counter and gather all your ingredients.
- Make the Base: In a mixing bowl, combine the puffed cereal and peanut butter until thoroughly coated.
- Form the Sandwich Base: Line a small baking dish with parchment paper and press the cereal mixture into an even layer, about 1 inch thick.
- Freeze: Place the base in the freezer for 15–20 minutes until firm.
- Ice Cream Layer: Spread a thick layer of ice cream over the base, then spoon on dollops of jelly among the ice cream.
- Complete the Sandwich: Press the remaining cereal mixture onto the jelly layer to form another sandwich layer on top.
- Final Freeze: Return the sandwich to the freezer for at least 1 hour.
- Slice and Serve: Slice into squares or rectangles and serve immediately, or wrap individual sandwiches in plastic wrap for later.
Notes
For a nut-free option, substitute peanut butter with almond or cashew butter. Experiment with different ice cream flavors and cereals for variety.
