Ingredients

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Sea salt for sprinkling
  • Optional toppings: Chopped nuts or mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the melted butter mixture into the peanut butter mix and stir until creamy.
  5. Use a spoon to form tiny balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  7. In a saucepan, blend brown sugar and butter over medium heat until bubbling, then remove from heat.
  8. Drizzle warm caramel over the chilled minis and sprinkle with sea salt.
  9. Chill again for 30 minutes to set the caramel.
  10. Remove from parchment and enjoy!

Notes

Allow the ingredients to chill properly for better shaping and avoid over-melting the peanut butter.
