Ingredients

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup fresh, toasted pecans
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs or butter cookie crumbs
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread pecans on a baking sheet and toast for 8-10 minutes.
- Prepare the crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs or cookie crumbs with melted butter and sugar, then press into the bottom of your serving dish.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Mix in sour cream and vanilla, then gradually add heavy whipping cream until fluffy.
- Fold in half of the toasted pecans and assemble the trifle by layering the crust, cheesecake mixture, and remaining pecans.
- Refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving.
Notes
Toast the pecans for enhanced flavor. Allow the trifle to chill for at least 2 hours for best results.
