- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 box yellow cake mix (or gluten-free cake mix)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and milk. Stir until well blended.
- Fold in the pecans, reserving some for the top if desired.
- Pour the batter into the prepared dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let it cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
