- 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 8 oz white chocolate, melted
- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
Instructions
- Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or a rolling pin in a zip-top bag.
- Mix the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese and peppermint extract until combined.
- Cover and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate, tap off excess, and place back on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top while the chocolate is still wet.
- Refrigerate the truffles for about an hour to set.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute cream cheese for a dairy-free cream cheese alternative. Dark chocolate can be used for a richer coating.
