Description

Delicious bite-sized sausages wrapped in flaky dough, perfect for gatherings or cozy dinners.


Ingredients

  • 8 mini sausages or hot dogs
  • 1 can crescent roll dough or puff pastry
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or egg wash
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Optional herbs (thyme, rosemary, garlic)
  • Dipping sauces (mustard, ranch, spicy aioli)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface or thaw puff pastry as needed.
  3. Cut dough into small rectangles (about 2 by 3 inches). Place a sausage at one end and roll the dough around it, sealing the edges.
  4. Arrange the wrapped sausages seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Brush tops with melted butter or egg wash and sprinkle with salt or herbs.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
