Description

A delightful combination of sweet peaches and savory prosciutto, drizzled with balsamic glaze, making for a perfect summer appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fresh peaches (yellow or white)
  • 8 slices of prosciutto
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • Fresh basil or mint for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Wash the peaches, cut them in half and remove the pit, or slice them into wedges.
  2. Wrap each peach half or wedge with a slice of prosciutto, overlapping slightly to secure.
  3. If grilling, preheat to medium heat and grill the wrapped peaches for 2-3 minutes on each side until the prosciutto crisps and peaches soften. For baking, preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, drizzle with balsamic glaze, and top with fresh herbs.
  5. Serve warm as an appetizer or side dish.

Notes

Watch the grilling closely as prosciutto can burn quickly.
