Description
A delightful combination of sweet peaches and savory prosciutto, drizzled with balsamic glaze, making for a perfect summer appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 fresh peaches (yellow or white)
- 8 slices of prosciutto
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- Fresh basil or mint for garnish
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Wash the peaches, cut them in half and remove the pit, or slice them into wedges.
- Wrap each peach half or wedge with a slice of prosciutto, overlapping slightly to secure.
- If grilling, preheat to medium heat and grill the wrapped peaches for 2-3 minutes on each side until the prosciutto crisps and peaches soften. For baking, preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from heat, drizzle with balsamic glaze, and top with fresh herbs.
- Serve warm as an appetizer or side dish.
Notes
Watch the grilling closely as prosciutto can burn quickly.
