Description

Delightful puff pastry trees filled with creamy burrata and topped with a tangy cranberry glaze, perfect for festive gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme
  • Sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out puff pastry sheets to about 1/8-inch thickness and cut into tree shapes.
  3. Place the burrata at the top of each tree shape and pinch the pastry around it to form a nest.
  4. Mix egg and water for egg wash, then brush over the pastry.
  5. Drizzle cranberry glaze over the burrata.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs and sea salt before serving.

Notes

Keep the puff pastry cold until ready to bake for best results. Serve with a fresh salad or charcuterie board.
