Description

A warm and savory pulled beef sandwich featuring tender, shredded beef, zesty barbecue sauce, and crunchy coleslaw, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lb Beef Chuck Roast
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Barbecue Sauce
  • 4 Soft Sandwich Buns
  • 1 cup Coleslaw

Instructions

  1. Season the beef chuck roast with salt, pepper, and other spices; let sit for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the roast on each side until browned.
  3. Transfer the beef to a slow cooker, add onions, garlic, and barbecue sauce; cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  4. Remove the beef, let it sit briefly, then shred and mix it back into the sauce.
  5. Toast sandwich buns until warm and crispy.
  6. Assemble the sandwich with shredded beef, coleslaw, and additional sauce if desired; serve hot.

Notes

Searing the meat adds incredible flavor. Let the meat rest before shredding for better moisture retention.
