  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Fresh herbs (basil, parsley, or chives)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Open the can of crescent rolls and roll out the dough, pressing the seams together to form a base.
  4. In a skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned, then add the chopped mushrooms and cook until tender.
  5. In a bowl, beat together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper; fold in the sausage mixture and half of the cheese.
  6. Pour the mixture over the crescent roll base and top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
