Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix, 1 egg, and melted butter. Mix until smooth, then spread evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Add the remaining eggs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until creamy.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture over the red velvet base, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for about 40 minutes until set but still gooey in the center.
  6. Let it cool for 15 minutes before slicing. Chill for better flavor.
  7. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving.
