  • 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, blend together peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix until just combined.
  5. Chill the dough for about 30 minutes.
  6. Using a cookie scoop, portion the dough and roll it into balls. Roll each ball in powdered sugar until fully coated.
  7. Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until tops are crinkled and edges are set.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free blend. Don’t skip the chilling step for better texture.
