Description
Deliciously chewy cookies filled with gooey caramel and crunchy toffee, delivering a perfect blend of sweet and salty flavors.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup chopped toffee or nuts (pecans or walnuts)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Add in the eggs one at a time, ensuring they’re well incorporated, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and sea salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix just until combined.
- Fold in the caramel sauce and chopped toffee or nuts until evenly distributed.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop generous portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers are slightly underbaked.
- Let them cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Chill the dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies. Drizzle more caramel sauce on warm cookies for extra flavor.
