  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped toffee or nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time, ensuring they’re well incorporated, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and sea salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix just until combined.
  5. Fold in the caramel sauce and chopped toffee or nuts until evenly distributed.
  6. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop generous portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers are slightly underbaked.
  8. Let them cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Chill the dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies. Drizzle more caramel sauce on warm cookies for extra flavor.
