Delicious blondies combining salty pretzels and sweet homemade salted caramel for a perfect treat.

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup crushed pretzels
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking pan or line with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat until liquid. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in crushed pretzels gently until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are lightly golden and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then drizzle with salted caramel sauce.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature, with ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat.
