Description

Delicious meatballs flavored with a sweet cranberry glaze and fresh herbs, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 beaten egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped thyme
  • 1 tablespoon chopped rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cranberry sauce for glazing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, milk, onion, and garlic.
  3. Chop fresh herbs and add to the meat mixture along with salt and pepper.
  4. Shape the mixture into bite-sized meatballs and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
  6. While the meatballs bake, heat cranberry sauce in a small saucepan over low heat.
  7. Drizzle the warm cranberry glaze over the meatballs before serving.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Gently mix the meat to avoid tough meatballs. Let meatballs rest for a few minutes after baking for juicier results.
