Instructions

- Sauté Aromatics: In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add the onions, garlic, and celery. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- Add Mushrooms: Stir in mushrooms and cook until golden and moisture evaporates.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine crumbled cornbread, sautéed mixture, fresh herbs, salt, and pepper. Gradually mix in broth until desired moisture is achieved.
- Bind with Eggs: Add beaten eggs, folding until evenly incorporated.
- Transfer to Baking Dish: Spread stuffing into a buttered baking dish.
- Bake to Perfection: Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until crispy and golden.
