Description

Tender and juicy steak bites cooked in a slow cooker, infused with rich flavors of garlic, soy sauce, and a blend of herbs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs beef steak (sirloin or chuck), cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper.
  2. Optional: Sauté the garlic and onions in a skillet with olive oil.
  3. Combine the seasoned steak, sautéed garlic and onion, soy sauce, beef broth, and herbs in the slow cooker.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until tender.
  5. Optional: Thicken the sauce by simmering uncovered for 30 minutes or adding a cornstarch slurry.
  6. Serve the steak bites with fresh herbs sprinkled on top.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, allow it to simmer uncovered towards the end of cooking. Experiment with herbs and spices to tailor the flavor.
