Description

Tender steak bites cooked slowly in a rich marinade, offering a comforting and flavorful dish perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Steak (Sirloin or Chuck)
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Fresh Thyme
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Marinate the Steak: Mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss the steak in the marinade and let soak for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Sautéing (Optional): Sauté marinated steak bites in a skillet over medium-high heat for a few minutes for a nice sear.
  4. Slow Cook: Place steak bites in the slow cooker, add onions and beef broth, sprinkle herbs and spices, and mix gently.
  5. Set and Forget: Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Check for Doneness: Ensure steak is tender; adjust seasoning as necessary.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or on skewers as an appetizer.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water and add it in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
