S’mores Rice Krispie Treats

Description

Delicious S’mores Rice Krispie Treats blend the classic flavors of s’mores into a crispy, gooey dessert that’s perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate (milk or dark)
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat, being careful not to let it brown.
  2. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted into a smooth mixture.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the Rice Krispies and graham cracker crumbs until well mixed.
  4. Fold in the chopped chocolate while the mixture is still warm.
  5. Lightly butter a 9×13 inch pan, then press the mixture evenly into the pan.
  6. Allow to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

For added texture, sprinkle extra graham cracker crumbs or mini marshmallows on top before setting.
