- 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
- 1 cup all-purpose flour, plus 1 tablespoon for coating blueberries
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk (whole or buttermilk)

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the blueberries, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon flour, and a hint of lemon juice. Stir gently and set aside.
- In another bowl, mix the remaining flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Combine melted butter with the milk, then pour into dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
- Pour the blueberry mixture into a greased baking dish and dollop the cobbler topping over the fruit.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving, ideally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
Add a sprinkle of coarse sugar on top before baking for a crunchy glaze. Avoid overmixing the topping for a fluffy texture.
