- 1 lb ground lamb
- 10 samosa wrappers
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece ginger, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
- Mango chutney (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until golden.
- Stir in garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant.
- Add ground lamb, season with spices, and cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes.
- Mix in cilantro and set the filling aside to cool.
- Cut samosa wrappers in half to form triangles. Whisk egg with water for an egg wash.
- Form triangles into cones, fill with lamb mixture, and seal edges with egg wash.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown or bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes.
- Serve warm with mango chutney.
