- 1 lb sausage (pork, turkey, or plant-based)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (10 oz) Rotel tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: smoked paprika or cayenne pepper for extra heat
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the sausage, Rotel tomatoes, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, green onions, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Allow to cool slightly and serve warm with dipping sauce.
Notes
Keep your hands lightly dampened when shaping the balls to prevent sticking. Serve with ranch dressing or spicy aioli.
