A vibrant and healthy smoothie combining spinach and green apple for a refreshing taste.
Ingredients
- Fresh spinach (1 cup)
- Green apple (1 medium)
- Banana (1 medium, optional)
- Greek yogurt (1 cup, or a dairy-free alternative)
- Almond milk (1 cup, or any milk of choice)
- Honey (to taste, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients: wash the spinach, core and chop the apple, and peel the banana if using.
- In a high-speed blender, add the fresh spinach first.
- Then add the apple, banana, Greek yogurt, and almond milk. If using honey, drizzle it on top.
- Blend until smooth, and scrape down the sides if needed.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more almond milk and blend again.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as desired. Pour into a glass and serve!
Notes
Adjust ingredients based on personal preference; can add lime juice or adjust the sweetness with honey.
