Description

A comforting and indulgent breakfast combining the flavors of creamy cheesecake and fresh strawberries in a hearty oatmeal base.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, baking powder, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and maple syrup until combined.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the oat mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
  5. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the oat mixture, followed by dollops of cream cheese and sliced strawberries.
  6. Top with the remaining oat mixture and more strawberries.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the oats are set and the edges are golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before serving, possibly with a drizzle of maple syrup on top.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, use vegan cream cheese and plant-based milk. Frozen strawberries can be used if fresh ones are not available.
