Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a round cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the sugar and unsalted butter until fluffy. Add the beaten eggs and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  3. Gradually fold in the all-purpose flour and cocoa powder until just combined.
