- 2 cups glutinous rice flour
- 3/4 cup dark cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup crushed Oreos
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan, lining the bottom with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat and let it cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, whisk together glutinous rice flour, dark cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and baking powder.
- Pour the melted butter into the dry ingredients, adding the eggs and vanilla extract. Stir gently until fully combined.
- Fold in the crushed Oreos.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean with a few crumbs attached.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate ganache before serving.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, use a mix of almond flour. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or fresh berries.
