These delightful pinwheels are filled with a sweet-tart cranberry mixture, perfect for holiday gatherings.

- 1 package puff pastry
- 1 cup fresh or dried cranberries
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley or thyme (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, cranberries, honey, chopped nuts, and your chosen spices. Mix well.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Evenly spread the cranberry mixture over the puff pastry, leaving space around the edges.
- Starting from one end, roll the dough into a log shape.
- Slice the log into 1-inch sections.
- Place the pinwheels on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Brush the tops with an egg wash before baking for a golden sheen. Experiment with different cheeses for variations.
