- 1 bottle white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 green apple, chopped
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sparkling soda (club soda or lemon-lime soda)
- 2–3 cinnamon sticks
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
- Optional: splash of peach schnapps or brandy
Instructions
- Wash and prep the fruits: slice the oranges, chop the green apple, and slice the strawberries.
- In a large pitcher, combine the fresh fruit with the white wine and let it sit for about 30 minutes.
- Stir in the sparkling soda and add cinnamon sticks.
- Add fresh mint leaves right before serving, and serve over ice if desired.
Notes
Tastes even better if made a few hours ahead of time to allow flavors to meld. Avoid letting the sangria sit too long after adding soda to maintain its fizz.
