- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Instructions
- Whip the heavy cream in a large mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
- In another bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract.
- Melt the bittersweet chocolate and let it cool slightly before folding it into the sweetened milk mixture.
- Gently combine half of the whipped cream with the sweetened condensed milk mixture.
- Divide the mixture into two bowls, mixing melted chocolate into one for the chocolate swirl.
- In a loaf pan lined with parchment paper, alternate layers of chocolate and vanilla mixture.
- Cover and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Let sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings.
Notes
For a lighter twist, substitute half of the heavy cream with coconut cream. Allow sufficient time for freezing to achieve the perfect texture.
