  3. Add turmeric and stir for 30 seconds.
  4. Incorporate the rinsed rice, stirring to coat with the mixture.
  5. Pour in the vegetable broth and add salt; bring to a boil.
  6. Simmer on low, covered, for about 15 minutes until cooked and liquid is absorbed.
