- 4 ripe pears (Bosc or Anjou)
- 1 cup creamy goat cheese
- 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/4 cup honey
- Fresh thyme or rosemary (to taste)
- Optional: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the pears, slice them in half lengthwise, and scoop out the core.
- Arrange the pear halves cut side up in a baking dish.
- Spoon goat cheese into each pear half and sprinkle fresh herbs on top.
- Scatter cranberries around and drizzle honey over the dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking periodically until pears are tender and cheese is warm.
- Optionally, add chopped nuts for crunch during the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Serve warm, optionally drizzling more honey before serving.
