Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a loaf pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
- In another bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, followed by vanilla extract and mix until just combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet, alternating with the milk, mixing until smooth.
- Gently fold in the black sesame seeds.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth it out.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
- Let the cake cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute butter with coconut oil and use almond or oat milk.
