Description
A comforting dish of juicy chicken, crispy bacon, tender broccoli, and creamy cheddar cheese, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
- Chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
- Thick-cut bacon
- Fresh broccoli
- Sharp cheddar cheese
- Heavy cream or sour cream
- Fresh garlic
- Onion
- Salt
- Freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 7-10 minutes. Remove bacon and leave fat in the skillet.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then sear in the hot skillet for about 5 minutes until golden, then flip.
- Add chopped broccoli around the chicken and sprinkle with crispy bacon.
- Drizzle heavy cream over everything and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken is 165°F (75°C) and cheese is melted.
- Let rest for a few minutes, then serve with rice, pasta, or crusty bread.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the skillet to ensure chicken sears properly. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
