  • 1 cup chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, stirring constantly until it turns golden brown and smells nutty (5-7 minutes).
  3. Cool the brown butter slightly.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each, then stir in bourbon.
  6. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  7. Fold in pecans and chocolate chunks.
