Description

A luxurious cheesecake with a charred top that delivers a unique blend of rich, creamy, and slightly tangy flavors, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz cream cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a springform pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar; beat until smooth. Mix in the eggs one by one, then stir in heavy cream and vanilla until just combined. Add a pinch of salt.
  3. Pour the batter into your prepared pan and bake for about 50-60 minutes until the top is dark and cracked.
  4. Remove it from the oven and allow it to cool completely in the pan.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Serve by gently removing from the pan, peeling off the parchment, and adding optional whipped cream or berries.

Notes

Be careful not to overbake; the center should jiggle slightly when done. Let cool completely before chilling.
